The Constitutional Court has annulled the provisions set forth under the third paragraph of Article 247 of the Code of Criminal Procedure numbered 5271 which is “prosecution can be made for the accused fugitive. However, a sentence cannot be given if he has not been questioned before.” due to being contrary to the Articles 13 and 36 of the Constitution. The annulment decision will enter into force in 9 months.”
