
“The Regulation Regarding Small and Medium Scaled Enterprises has entered into force by being published in the Official Gazette dated 25 May 2023.
- With the Regulation;
The rules and procedures regarding the definition, qualifications, classification and applications of the small and medium sized enterprises have been determined.
The Regulation on the Definition, Qualifications and Classification of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises which was entered into force with the Cabinet Decree dated 19.10.2005 and numbered 2005/9617 has been annulled.
- According to the Regulation the following were determined as:
Micro Enterprises are, enterprises whose annual number of employees is less than ten and either of the annual net sales revenue or financial balance does not exceed 10 million Turkish Liras (does not exceed 5 million Turkish Liras according to the previous regulation),
Small Enterprises are, enterprises whose annual number of employees is less than fifty and either of the annual net sales revenue or financial balance does not exceed 100 million Turkish Liras (does not exceed 50 million Turkish Liras according to the previous regulation),
Medium Scaled Enterprises are, enterprises whose annual number of employees is less than two hundred and fifty and either of the annual net sales revenue or financial balance does not exceed 500 million Turkish Liras (does not exceed 250 million Turkish Liras according to the previous regulation).
