The Regulation Amending the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles to be Applied in the Issuance, Collection and Follow-up of Traffic Administrative Fine Decision Minutes was published in the Official Gazette dated 31.01.2024.

According to this Regulation;

The phrase “fifteen days” in the first sentence of the fourth paragraph of the fourth paragraph of Article 14 of the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles to be Applied in the Issuance, Collection and Follow-up of Traffic Administrative Fine Decision Minutes published in the Official Gazette dated 6/4/2011 and numbered 27897, has been amended as “one month” and the phrase “one fourth” has been amended as “25% of the fine”.

Article 21 of the same Regulation has been amended as “The provisions of this Regulation shall be jointly executed by the Ministers of Interior, Treasury and Finance, Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change and Transport and Infrastructure.”

This Regulation shall enter into force on the date of publication.

 

REGULATION ON THE PROCEDURES AND PRINCIPLES TO BE APPLIED IN THE ISSUANCE, COLLECTION AND FOLLOW-UP OF TRAFFIC ADMINISTRATIVE FINE DECISION MINUTES

Procedures and principles to be followed in the payment of fines and the places and transactions where fines can be paid

ARTICLE 14 – (4) In case the traffic administrative fine is paid within one month from the date of notification; the fine is reduced by the 25% of the fine. If the economic situation of the person subject to the fine is not suitable and he/she applies to the relevant tax office within 1 (one) month, the tax office may order the person to pay the first instalment in advance and the remaining three instalments in four equal instalments within one year. If any of the instalments are not paid on time and in full, the remaining part of the administrative fine shall be collected in full.

Execution

ARTICLE 21 – (1) The provisions of this Regulation shall be jointly executed by the Ministers of Internal Affairs, Treasury and Finance, Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change and Transport and Infrastructure.
